Obelia

Obelia is the only mining system left in the Pelaoia Province after the annexation of a majority of the province by House Calipsa. Fortunately it is also the most productive of the mining operations. Obelia is a cool mountainous world with vast plains. The planet is populated with very little wildlife and plantlife. The only plants to grow on a majority of the world is a chest high blue colored grass. There are three very large lakes on the planet. In them is a small variety of fish. The planet is ruled by Lord J.Q. Higgins. Lord Higgins is a distant cousin of High Lord Paddox. He was appointed leader of Obelia for his extensive knowledge and experience in mining.

Lord Higgins was selected for more than his mining experience. He was also chosen for his total loyalty to the house. Higgins is one of the few high nobles to know of the secret military build up right outside of his system.

Rark is a spy in a low level bureaucratic position. So far he has no knowledge of the secret military build up. He has however, noticed a lot of odd expenses and personnel lately. It is only a matter of time until Mecetti Intelligance figures out what is going on. If Tom was discovered House Peagia would "silence" him immediately.
