The ship is a heavily modified luxury Lambda shuttle. It has been fitted with eight state rooms in the rear. The hull and shields have both been boosted way beyond specifications. The maneuvering systems, and sublight drives have been similarly boosted, and the hyperdrive system is without doubt the fastest in the galaxy, reaching a top speed of point one past lightspeed. Even the backup hyperdrive is capable of outpacing all but the most unusual ships.
Contained within the upper solar fin of the ship is a very rare, possibly unique, stygian crystal cloaking device, which, when used, requires a heroic sensors roll to detect, and that's assuming the ship hasn't moved from where it's last known location was. If the shuttle is in motion, a sensors operator needs to roll a Heroic +30 to detect the ship.
Despite all of this vessel's capabilities, the Emperor only uses it to travel between heavilly defended locations, and only then when the flagship (the Executor or the Eclipse) is not available.
