Loronar's standard lifeboat during the end of the clone wars, the TWC-048 holds thirty people including the pilot. At the time of its construction, the probability that a standard lifeboat would be destroyed during a battle was less then 30 percent, so the 048 model was equipped with a low power shield generator and relatively fast sublight engines. It only carries one week of air and scrubbers for the full 30 people, but if they are in a system with a planet with oxygen, it carries survival gear enough for two months. The most interesting feature of the 048 is the sensors that are comparable to those of a TIE/ln fighter. The 048 model was replaced later in that decade with the TWC-072 which sported room for twenty more passengers and the ability to stay in space as long as one month.
