Uktentenya

They live in loose nit clans, similar to Vodoni tribes, but have a very loose and free flowing hierarchy. Each "clan" is headed by an elder, who has proven his worth. He is aided by two overseers, which assist him/her in ruling the clan. There are also three other elders that form the clan council, which is responsible for making decisions that affect the entire area's clans. Each clan, has one champion, who is responsible for organizing the clan's defenses and for resolving inter-clan disputes in one-on-one combat. Each clan usually comprises of between 50 and 75 members. An area's tribe comprises of two to six clans, and a planet usually has between five to nine tribes.

All in all there are less than 1 million Utkentenya left, and they are slowly making a comeback. Every 5 years, the entire planet's tribes come together to have a moot. In this moot, all those who are ready to undergo the rite of Cleansing (which recognizes them as full adults) are given a chance to choose their path, for the better of their respective clan. They have a racial weapon canned the Zakarah, which is a double ended lightsaber, which can be extended into a double ended staff. Each Utkentenya is given one upon completing their rite of passage, and it is attuned to the user. This attunement means the weapon does not stand the chance of damaging the owner, if someone else get's it, or if the user botches a to hit roll. If this Zakarah is lost, the Utkentenya can create himself a new one like jedi do with lightsabers, but it takes 20 CP's and 6 months to attune it.

Special Abilities:
Irregardless of template, all Utkentenya are possessed of a special power, called windwalking. This grants the Utkentenya the ability to "fall" a number of floors without taking damage. They can also jump straight up half their falling distance or across two thirds the falling distance. At the age of 16, which is when they are considered adults, it has a 20 floor rating. Figure each floor representing 12 feet distance. When the character reaches 25 years old, it increases to the mature value of 30 floors. For every two years beyond 25, add another floor. For every five floors beyond 20, it grants a Dice. These are rolled to see if the character can increase the distance. For a 10% increase, the roll is easy. For 15%, the roll is moderate, for 20% difficult, for 25% very difficult and for 30% heroic. If the charcater succeeds in his roll, he temporarily increases his distance for that jump only. If he fails... He falls. Each tribe can also have one or more other benefits.

Penalties:
If a character wishes to purchase force powers, it costs double that a normal Jedi needs to pay. They also only get D4 for resisting the dark side. They Cannot have a specialty in any "modern" item (blasters, space ships), until they have been around it for over five years. Lastly, when using a blaster or flying a ship, due to their unfamiliarity with them, they increase all difficulties to use by two categories. They also gain no benefit from having darkside points (unlike normal characters).
