The Gthroc class 440 Light Freighter is the first of the famous Gthroc freighter series. It is also the smallest of the series and has not as much cargo space as the newer models of the Gthroc freighters, such as the class 580 and the class 720 freighters. The class 440 was not very popular and the manufacturer, Gthroc Industries, became famous later with the well-known Class 720 freighter.
