This is one of the Authorities main transports vessel used throughout the entire Corporate Sector and even beyond its borders. It is a typical medium freighter, not designed to haul large bulk cargo. However it can be used as passenger transport and cargo vessel. The Etti Light Transport has enough room for 50 passengers and 2,000 metric tons of cargo. It is typically used for light cargo runs or inter-system runs, although it is capable of hyperspace jumps. But as it is unarmed, and the Authority cannot afford enough escort ships to accompany a convoy, Etti Light Transports will most likely be encountered on more safe hyperspace routes.
To compensate the lack of patrol vessels in the Corporate Sector, the Authority converted large numbers of these transports into patrol ships. Most cargo space is used up for a heavy power plant, as there were many weapon emplacements installed. When modified, these vessels are more than a match for smugglers and pirates, and it is quite suitable for mission profile of the Authority.
