Imperial Customs Light Frigate

Sienar Fleet Systems' Light Customs Frigate is the predecessor of the popular Guardian-class Customs Cruiser. The Light Frigate was an earlier attempt by the company to get into the customs branch. The ship features four hard-hitting Laser Cannons and tough shields, compensating the weak hull that is somewhat lacking. It also has excellent sublight engines for chasing smugglers and pirates, a feature that has even been improved in the later Guardian-class series.
For these reasons, the Light Frigate is very popular by pirates and privateers for their operations. Of course these ships get modified when captured. Usually some extra weaponry is being added to improve the firepower, however slightly reducing the ship's cargo capayity.
