A common cargo barge, manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards for the Empire. It is a standard transport design, but with the difference of being armed. Cargo barges used by civilian corporations usually don't feature any weapons. For this reason, the KDY Cargo Barge is disclosed to the military only. This model of cargo barge was also included in the huge complement of support craft of the first Death Star. A not unimportant part of the Death Star's 13,000 support ships were such transport vessels.
